LightFoot guides must meet a range of different criteria, which include the provision of detailed maps, route instructions and accommodation data, while also reducing the cost and weight carried by the pilgrims who buy them. Then of course we also have the environmental factors to consider, one reason for preferring to use the Print on Demand option, which marginally raises the overall cost, but also ensures we do not add to the astronomical number of books pulped annually.
Now the new Digital Editions software enables us to do even more. These can be used on any platform that supports Adobe Reader or Adobe Digital editions, iPhone, ipad, android etc.
