Copies of the report have been sent to Dr. Carla Cropera (AEVF Secretary General), Dr. Tedeschi (AEVF president) and the Italian Scientific Committee, which meets once a year to discuss a number of subjects, including the Via Francigena. 

We apologise for any inference in the report that Dr. Carla Cropera refused to see us, or was in the office while we were there.  This was due to an apparent misunderstanding and we withdraw any suggestion to that effect. We nevertheless stand by the findings in our report.
