The Second Edition LightFoot Guide to the via Francigena represents a complete revision of the 2008 guides and include:

• Route changes in northern France

• Adoption of parts of  the SwissMobility route 70 in Switzerland

• The official via Francigena route in Italy (as defined by the Italian Ministry of culture), with additional  route options for cyclists and horse riders. 

• Revised accommodation data based on feed back from pilgrims travelling in 2008

• Format changes in line with comments from a number of members of this group - including enlarged maps and altitude profiles, more Way Point locations on each map, more route options, cumulative distance measures, additional altitude data and deletion of our personal blog.
